Conscious Victory is not just two words together. Its a way of life. The phrase describes how to act today. Often times we walk around defeated as if nothing good has ever happened to us. We act as if we have not overcome anything. Sometimes when we have things happen to us over and over that are negative it is difficult to take the time to remember our last victory. As sure as you have breath in your body is as sure you can and will have victory in your life. If you have to be in a conscious (look for victory and be alert) victory state.
Conscious aware of and responding to one’s surroundings; awake. having knowledge of something; aware. “we are conscious of the extent of the problem”. Conscious means to be aware, awake, alert, responsive, and to be mindful.
Victory is a success or superior position achieved against any opponent, opposition, difficulty, etc.: a moral victory. Victory is an achievement an advantage.
I was reading this morning how David had 0 fear when he ran towards Goliath. He ran towards Goliath with a few smooth stones and a sling shot (that what I call it) and he hit Goliath smack dab in the middle of his head which killed him. Not only did Goliath fall to the ground, David also cut off his head.
How to Walk in Conscious Victory
David operated in conscious victory because he tasted victory before. He was a shepherd boy and he had defeated a bear and a lion. When he saw how scared the Israel army was of Goliath he had no doubt that he could defeat Goliath.
I encourage you today to look over your life and point out some difficult times you have had and assess how you overcame them. Assess how you gained victory from a situation or circumstance that at first seemed difficult yet you got the victory. Once you remember how you felt when you got the victory……
